Panchkula, Sept. 2 -- A major fire broke out at a factory in the Alipur Industrial Area of Barwala in Panchkula district on Wednesday afternoon, triggering panic in the surrounding area. Several fire tenders and local police teams rushed to the spot and launched a massive operation to bring the blaze under control.
The fire reportedly broke out at ICL's Plot Nos. 1 and 2, where the presence of flammable material caused the flames to spread rapidly, making the incident a challenging firefighting operation. A blast was also reported during the fire, adding to the panic in the surrounding area.
