Kaithal, Oct. 25 -- A labourer was found dead under suspicious circumstances at the under-construction Bhagwan Parshuram Medical College here today.
The body of Dharamraj, a resident of Pratapgarh, Uttar Pradesh, was found on the basement stairs of the medical college's academy block around 8:30 am in the morning. It is reported that he suffered a serious head injury after falling from the stairs.
Upon receiving the information, Sadar police arrived at the scene and transferred the body to the Civil Hospital for a postmortem.
Following the postmortem, the body was handed over to the family. Based on the statement of the deceased's wife, Geeta, the police have registered a case of accidental death.
