Kaithal, Oct. 11 -- Cyber fraudsters are cheating people by offering lucrative online part-time jobs through social media and messaging platforms, Kaithal Superintendent of Police Manpreet Singh Sudan warned on Sunday.
Sudan said fraudsters were luring people with promises of earning thousands of rupees daily by working for one to two hours. They circulate links through SMS, WhatsApp, Telegram, websites and mobile applications, often offering additional payments or bonuses for forwarding the links to others.
He warned that such links could be used to obtain personal information and defraud people, resulting in the loss of their savings.
