Jhajjar, Oct. 12 -- Jhajjar Police have arrested a Madhya Pradesh resident in connection with an online fraud in which Rs 1,48,001 was allegedly withdrawn from two bank accounts after a complainant's mobile phone was hacked.
The accused has been identified as Lokesh Suryavanshi, a resident of Alwada Khedi village in Mandsaur district of Madhya Pradesh, police said.
According to Inspector Darshan Singh, SHO of the Cyber Crime Police Station, Jhajjar, a resident of Mandothi village had reported that his mobile phone was hacked on September 11, 2026. Subsequently, Rs 49,000 was withdrawn from one bank account and Rs 99,001 from another through online fraud.
