Hisar, June 11 -- An Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) leader Jitendra Shyoran was arrested allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs Eight Lakh from a hotelier, police said on Wednesday.
According to police, Shyoran had staged protests against a hotel last week. He had alleged that the hotelier had encroached upon a Haryana Urban Development Authority land. A complaint was also made to HUDA and an estate official had issued the notice to the said hotelier to remove encroachment.
Meanwhile, a mediator allegedly approached Shyoran for a compromise. Shyoran allegedly demanded Rs 50 lakh and the deal was finalised for Rs Eight lakh. The alleged mediator Rajbir, who is in property dealing business, along with hotelier Sahil Agrawal reached at Shyoran'...
