Panchkula, July 19 -- In a significant action against crimes targeting women's privacy, Haryana Police has arrested a studio owner from Hisar, accused of allegedly installing hidden cameras inside a changing room of his photography studio after luring a woman through Instagram on the pretext of a photoshoot collaboration.

According to a Haryana Police spokesperson, the arrest was made by the Urban Estate Police Station in Hisar as part of the special drive launched under the directions of the Superintendent of Police, Hisar, to ensure the safety and dignity of women and crack down on crimes against them.

The accused has been identified as Prateek Pilania, son of Nafe Singh, a resident of Sector-13, Hisar.
