Panchkula, Aug. 16 -- Haryana Police have issued 2,646 challans and imposed fines totalling Rs 28.37 lakh on motorists for lane-driving violations in Gurugram during a special enforcement drive conducted in the first fortnight of August, a police spokesman said today.
The spokesman said Gurugram Traffic Police conducted the special campaign from August 1 to 15 to enforce lane discipline and take action against motorists driving in the wrong lane or violating lane-changing rules.
