Kaithal, July 22 -- The Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Department, Kaithal, organized an online lottery draw today to provide a 40 to 50 per cent subsidy on agricultural equipment under the Samaim scheme, in which 1,319 farmers were selected.
The draw was conducted under the chairmanship of SDM Kaithal Dr. Sanjay Kumar, Deputy Agriculture Director Dr. Ravinder Hooda, and Assistant Agriculture Engineer Jagdish Malik.
Assistant Agricultural Engineer Jagdish Malik stated that farmers in the district enthusiastically applied under the scheme.
