Panchkula, Aug. 30 -- Haryana Police have arrested a 28-year-old man at Delhi's IGI Airport in connection with a Rs 2.21-lakh cyber fraud in which a Faridabad resident was allegedly tricked into entering his credit card details on a link sent on WhatsApp on the pretext of redeeming reward points.

The accused has been intercepted on his arrival from Nepal following a Lookout Circular issued against him, a Haryana Police spokesperson said today.

According to the sources, the accused has been identified as Shubham, a resident of Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh. He has been arrested by the Cyber Police Station, Ballabgarh, and taken on police remand for further questioning.
