Panchkula, Sept. 16 -- The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has asked its affiliated schools to set up dedicated e-waste collection corners as a nationwide collection drive gets underway, allowing students, with parental consent, to bring discarded electronic items from their homes for safe recycling.
The campaign, being organised by the Department of School Education and Literacy in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, will be carried out in two phases under Eco Clubs for Mission LiFE. The preparatory phase is now underway and will continue until September 30, while collection and implementation will run from October 1 to 31.
