Chandigarh, April 22 -- In a devastating road accident in Panipat, two children were killed on Wednesday night after being struck by a speeding vehicle on the Babail-Palheri road.
The victims, identified as 7-year-old Vinit and 14-year-old Gunit, were uncle and nephew by relation. The incident occurred as they were standing by the roadside when an uncontrolled vehicle hit them with high impact. Although onlookers rushed the children to the Civil Hospital in Panipat, doctors declared them dead upon arrival.
