New Delhi, Oct. 1 -- As the annual nationwide blood donation campaign nears its end, Haryana was awarded first place for the highest blood collection in 2025, officials from the Health Ministry said today.
Uttarakhand and Punjab grabbed the second and third spots and were felicitated during a campaign in Delhi's Lady Hardinge Medical College on the occasion of National Voluntary Blood Donation Day. The government noted these were the three best-performing states among the 21 Indian states, excluding the North-Eastern states.
