Panchkula, Aug. 10 -- The Haridwar-Panchkula Kanwar-Tiranga Yatra reached Panchkula on Monday, prompting the police to step up security, strengthen traffic arrangements and intensify law-and-order measures along the pilgrimage route.
DCP Crime and Traffic Amarinder Singh inspected security and traffic arrangements at Majri Chowk and welcomed the Kanwariyas with flowers. He also flagged off the Kanwar-Tiranga Yatra for its next leg and extended Shivratri greetings to the devotees and people of Haryana and the country.
