Hampi, April 2 -- A hill in Karnataka is once again drawing the attention of devotees and visitors, driven by enduring faith and growing interest in its spiritual significance, as Hanuman Jayanti is being celebrated today.

Perched near Hampi in Koppal district along the banks of the Tungabhadra River, Anjanadri Hill has emerged as a key dharmic and cultural site, with devotees believing it to be the birthplace of Lord Hanuman, a central figure in the Ramayana and a bhakta of Lord Rama. The surrounding region is traditionally identified with Kishkindha, the monkey kingdom described in the epic.
