Pankaj BhartiyaHamirpur (HP), May 23 -- Final preparations are underway for the three-phase Panchayati Raj Institutions elections scheduled for May 26, 28, and 30 in Hamirpur district, Himachal Pradesh, marking one of the most extensive grassroots electoral exercises in the region.

The polls will cover a total of 1,998 posts across multiple tiers of local governance, including Pradhans and Up-Pradhans for 242 Gram Panchayats, Panchayat members, Block Development Council (BDC) representatives, and District Council seats.
