Beijing, Aug. 19 -- Red Bull's Isack Hadjar will miss this weekend's Formula 1 Dutch Grand Prix because of a wrist injury, with Liam Lawson stepping up from Racing Bulls to replace him.
"Isack Hadjar has sustained a wrist injury during the summer shutdown that will prevent him from racing at the 2026 Dutch Grand Prix," read a Red Bull statement.
"We will be welcoming back Liam Lawson who will replace him in the RB22 this weekend.
"The team wishes Isack a speedy recovery and thanks Liam for stepping in on short notice."Hadjar's absence gives Lawson an unexpected return to Red Bull. The New Zealander was promoted from Racing Bulls to replace Sergio Perez at the start of the 2025 season but was demoted after just two races.
