Hyderabad, July 2 -- The Hyderabad Narcotics Enforcement Wing (H-NEW) has busted a major interstate ganja trafficking syndicate that used Speed Post and courier services to deliver cannabis across the country, arresting its key mastermind, Satyam Misra of Jharkhand.
A Police release on Thursday said the syndicate, which operated from Jharkhand, supplied ganja to customers in nearly 21 states, including Telangana, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Delhi, by falsely declaring parcels as medicines. The network allegedly executed 80 to 100 orders daily, generating an estimated Rs 30-35 lakh per month and an annual turnover of Rs 4-5 crore.
