Visakhapatnam, March 14 -- The Standing Committee of the Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC) on Friday approved 293 development-related agenda items during its meeting at the GVMC head office here.
The meeting was chaired by Visakhapatnam Mayor and Standing Committee Chairperson Peela Srinivasa Rao and attended by committee members and GVMC officials.
Speaking after the meeting, the Mayor said a total of 294 agenda items were placed before the committee, including 193 items in the main agenda and 101 table agenda items. After detailed discussions, the committee approved all the items in the main agenda, while one of the table agenda items was deferred and the remaining approved.
