Visakhapatnam, Sept. 10 -- Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC) Commissioner Ketan Garg on Thursday appealed to individuals and organisations with pending GVMC-related disputes to utilise the National Lok Adalat on September 12 to settle cases amicably through mutual consent.
The Lok Adalat will be conducted from 9 am under the aegis of the Visakhapatnam District Legal Services Authority.
Cases relating to Revenue, Town Planning, Public Health and other GVMC departments can be taken up for settlement.
The initiative covers disputes related to Property Tax, Vacant Land Tax, D&O Trade Licences, Water Charges, Advertisement Charges and other matters, including cases pending before courts and notices issued by GVMC.
