Kolkata, July 29 -- In a significant political development, Gorkha Janmukti Morcha (GJM) president Bimal Gurung and general secretary Roshan Giri held a nearly one-and-a-half-hour meeting with West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari here on Wednesday.
The meeting took place at the Public Works Department's Maidan Camp Office and was also attended by Transport and Labour Minister Arjun Singh.
According to administrative sources, the leaders exchanged courtesies and held detailed discussions on the political situation in the Darjeeling hills and several issues affecting the region.
