Panchkula, June 18 -- In an effort to improve traffic flow and reduce congestion, the Gurugram Police has issued a traffic advisory announcing the temporary closure of a road cut located in front of the Discovery liquor shop on the stretch between Ghata Power House and AIT Chowk.
According to the advisory, the decision has been taken on a trial basis following persistent traffic jams at the location.
The move is aimed at ensuring smoother vehicular movement and saving commuters' valuable time.
Under the revised traffic arrangement, motorists will no longer be allowed to take a right turn or make a U-turn from the cut directly opposite the Discovery liquor shop.
Traffic police have declared the cut closed for all such movements.
