Panchkula, June 18 -- : Haryana Police has intensified its enforcement drive against traffic violations in Gurugram, with the Traffic Police issuing 4,417 challans to motorists found driving vehicles without number plates or without mandatory High Security Registration Plates (HSRP) between June 1 and June 17, 2026.
According to police officials, fines amounting to more than Rs 25.10 lakh were imposed during the 17-day special enforcement campaign aimed at improving road safety and ensuring compliance with traffic regulations.
The action forms part of Gurugram Police's ongoing efforts to strengthen traffic management and enhance public safety in the Millennium City, where the number of vehicles on roads continues to rise.
