Panchkula, Aug. 6 -- A Haryana Police spokesperson stated that Gurugram Police personnel have been deployed citywide to maintain smooth traffic flow since Thursday morning amid heavy rainfall.
The spokesperson added that, due to ongoing rain and potential traffic congestion caused by waterlogging, the Police Commissioner instructed all Station House Officers to actively supervise traffic management in their areas starting Thursday morning.
According to the spokesperson, traffic movement has remained largely smooth in most parts of the city despite the adverse weather conditions.
