Panchkula, Aug. 18 -- Gurugram Police have arrested a 49-year-old man for allegedly attacking his son's mother-in-law with a vegetable-cutting knife, apparently angered that he was not being allowed to meet son and daughter-in-law.
According to a Haryana Police spokesman on Tuesday, the incident took place around 11 pm on August 16 in the Udyog Vihar area. The woman later lodged a written complaint at local police station alleging that the accused, who was allegedly intoxicated, came to her and started arguing with her. During the altercation, he allegedly attacked her with a knife with the intention of killing her, causing serious injuries.
