New Delhi, July 30 -- Delhi Assembly Speaker Vijender Gupta on Wednesday extended Guru Purnima greetings to the people, and said the festival is a reminder of the values of selfless action, discipline and devotion, adding that these principles should guide those in public office.
Gupta visited the 108-foot Sankat Mochan Dham Hanuman Temple in Karol Bagh, and prayed for the strength to continue serving the people of Delhi with integrity while upholding the ideals of compassion and public welfare.
He also offered prayers for the peace, welfare and prosperity of the people of Delhi.
