Chandigarh, Oct. 29 -- : Prominent Ludhiana-based activist and religious leader Gursimran Singh Mand has reportedly received death threats following his petition in the Supreme Court seeking to declare Pakistani gangster Shehzad Bhatti a terrorist. The threats, sent via mobile phone and Instagram, warned of attacks on his residence using grenades and rocket launchers.
Mand, who serves as the National President of the International Anti-Khalistani Terrorism Front, is already under Y category security cover provided by the Central government. He claimed that the threats were issued shortly after he approached the apex court on October 15 regarding Bhatti's alleged activities.
