Srinagar, Sept. 3 -- Gunshots were heard on Thursday evening during a cordon and search operation (CASO) in the upper reaches of central Kashmir's Budgam district, sources said.
They said joint forces launched the operation in the Budgam forest area following inputs about the presence of terrorists. Gunshots were heard as the search operation was underway, they said.
