Ahmedabad, March 2 -- Amid a spate of bomb threat incidents across Gujarat, Director General of Police Dr. K L N Rao on Monday convened a high-level crime conference to review the law and order situation and strengthen coordinated efforts to address key security concerns across the state.
Addressing recent bomb threats reported across multiple cities, he said, "Police were treating the matter with utmost seriousness. Preliminary investigations indicated that the threats had been issued using VPN services, with several locations traced to foreign sources, and efforts were underway to identify the original sender."The conference covered districts under Rajkot City, Rajkot Range, Junagadh Range and Bhavnagar Range.
