Vijayawada, Sept. 5 -- Andhra Pradesh Minister for Tourism Kandula Durgesh today asserted that the GST reforms will help to bolster the cinema and tourism sectors.
Talking to the media here, the Tourism Minister said the amendments to the GTS slabs would encourage the Cinema and tourism sectors as taxes were reduced.
Terming the GST reforms as historical, he said that the four slabs of 5%, 12%, 18% and 28% ofGST were reduced to two slabs of 5% and 18% which directly benefit the people.
The Tourism Minister noted that as part of the GST reforms, service-based sectors such as tourism and cinematography, would be benefited.
