Solapur, Nov. 11 -- A 62-year-old man and his 55-year-old wife were found dead at their residence in Hatid village, located in Singola tehsil of Solapur district, in what police believe to be a case of suicide. The deceased have been identified as Vaman Mahadev Ghadge and Anita Vaman Ghadge.
An official confirmed on Tuesday, the incident occurred on Monday afternoon, when the couple allegedly ended their lives by hanging from an iron angle inside their home. Their son discovered the bodies upon returning in the evening and immediately informed the Singola Police Station. A police team visited the scene, conducted the inquest proceedings, and sent the bodies to Singola Rural Hospital for post-mortem examination.
