Varanasi, April 23 -- On the auspicious occasion of Ganga Saptami in Kashi, a grand religious ceremony was held with utmost devotion, faith, and Vedic traditions at the Lalita Ghat of the Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple on Thursday.

The programme began with Vedic chanting and ritualistic worship under the guidance of acharyas. Following this, the 'abhishekam' of Mother Ganga was performed as per the prescribed rituals, using Ganga water, milk, flowers, and various worship materials.
