Kalyan, March 19 -- Kalyan witnessed a vibrant and grand procession on the occasion of Gudi Padwa, marking the Hindu New Year.
The historic city has been organizing this traditional procession for the past 27 years, and this year was no exception.
The procession was jointly organized by Kalyan Sanskritik Manch and Jain Samaj Charitable Trust, drawing participation from people across different communities and religions.
Citizens began gathering from early morning to take part in the celebrations.
The festival, which symbolizes Marathi culture and the beginning of a new year, saw young men dressed in traditional attire with saffron turbans.
