Patna, March 16 -- Political manoeuvring has intensified in Bihar ahead of the Rajya Sabha elections, with the ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and the opposition Grand Alliance (GA) adopting different strategies to keep their legislators united.

While MLAs of the Grand Alliance have been accommodated at a plush hotel in Patna to prevent any cross-voting, leaders of the NDA are engaging their legislators through a series of meetings and informal interactions, including dinner diplomacy.
