New Delhi, June 20 -- The Ministry of Ayush on Saturday announced that the International Yoga Day celebrations, scheduled for June 21, will be hosted at 40 different locations in Delhi.
Major parks, sports complexes, heritage sites and community spaces within the national capital region were selected for the programme.
Shantipath Lawn, Baansera Park, Yamuna Sports Complex, Lodhi Garden, Red Fort and Kartavya Path are a few of the designated spots in Delhi, according to the press statement from the ministry.
The main event for the day is scheduled to be hosted at Red Road in Kolkata, and will be led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
