Ranchi, May 25 -- Jharkhand Rural Development, Rural Works and Panchayati Raj Minister Dipika Pandey Singh on Monday said government officials should work not only with their minds but also with empathy to ensure better delivery of public services.
Inaugurating a state-level workshop on the iGOT Karmayogi portal at the State Institute of Rural Development (SIRD) auditorium here, she said block and circle offices were the face of the government and officials must remain accessible to the people.
"Officials need to understand the difficulties of people who come to government offices expecting their work to be done. It is important to ensure that they do not return disappointed," she said.
