New Delhi, April 1 -- As the new academic session 2026-27 begins, Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Wednesday launched the course curriculum on Computational thinking and Artificial Intelligence for students of Classes 3 to 8 on Wednesday.
The curriculum, unveiled at Vigyan Bhawan, has been designed by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in consultation with several stakeholders and vetted by the National Council of Educational Research and Training, according to Ministry officials.
At the event, the Minister unveiled both a textbook for students of Class 6 and a handbook for the teachers for guidance, which were created in line with the New Education Policy (NEP), 2020.
