Dharamshala, Aug. 2 -- Himachal Pradesh Deputy Chief Whip Kewal Singh Pathania has said the state government would provide government land to 14 families displaced by the Boh natural disaster for permanent rehabilitation.

On July 21, a severe cloudburst struck the fragile Boh Valley in the Shahpur tehsil of Kangra district, Himachal Pradesh, triggering flash floods and massive debris flows that destroyed 18 houses and washed away six others across villages like Sapeda and Ghargun.

He also recommended a state-level honour for Rano Devi, whose timely warning helped avert a greater tragedy.
