Panchkula, July 28 -- The Central Government has constituted a committee for the cadre restructuring of the Central Secretariat Clerical Service (CSCS), the Lok Sabha was informed in a written reply to an unstarred question.
The Government stated that CSCS cadre reviews are policy matters conducted periodically, considering cadre strength, functional needs, and administrative requirements. Accordingly, a committee has been formed for CSCS cadre restructuring.
The Government also informed the House that Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) in the Ministry of Finance have opportunities for promotion. When vacancies arise, promoted MTS employees are appointed as Junior Secretariat Assistants (JSA) under the CSCS.
