Hyderabad, June 27 -- Telangana Transport and BC Welfare Minister Ponnam Prabhakar on Saturday reiterated that the State government is committed to implementing every promise made to RTC workers and accused some trade union leaders of misleading employees and the public by distorting facts.
In a statement, the Minister said that after 14 hours of discussions involving ministers, senior IAS officials, RTC management and around 30 trade union representatives, it was unanimously decided that 29 of the 32 demands fell under the RTC management's purview, while the remaining three-recognised union elections, the 2021 Pay Revision Commission (PRC) and RTC merger with the government-were the government's responsibility.
