New Delhi, April 6 -- : As electric vehicles (EVs) are steadily penetrating the market, the government backed an Indian startup to expand the nation's charging infrastructure to boost the widespread adoption.
On Monday, the Technology Development Board (TDB) under the Department of Science & Technology (DST) inked an agreement with Maharashtra-based startup M/s Scharge Pvt Limited to develop an EV charging solution for commercial fleet and depot operations.
To streamline charging operations, the solution, which will be developed in partnership with UK-based Albright Product Design Limited, will be under the India-UK Collaborative R&D Programme for Industrial Sustainability.
