Itanagar, March 10 -- Arunachal Pradesh Home Minister Mama Natung on Tuesday informed the Assembly that the government has adopted a comprehensive and multi-pronged strategy to improve security and restore normalcy in the insurgency-affected Tirap-Changlang-Longding (TCL) region.
Replying to a query raised by MLA Wanglin Lowangdong, the Home Minister stated that the prolonged insurgency in the TCL region has affected the overall security environment and has also had social and psychological impacts on the local population.
He said the government has been taking sustained measures to strengthen the security situation and address the concerns of people in the affected areas.
