Bhubaneswar, Aug. 13 -- Odisha Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati on Thursday urged vice-chancellors of universities in the state to adopt at least one village each and promote skill development and entrepreneurship to create sustainable livelihood opportunities for rural communities.
Addressing vice-chancellors of public and private universities during a one-day exposure visit to Centurion University at Jatani in Khordha district, the Governor said universities should use their academic resources, students and faculty to identify local skills and economic potential and develop programmes tailored to the needs of rural areas.
