Hyderabad, March 16 -- Telangana Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla on Monday addressed the joint session of the State Legislative Assembly and Legislative Council on the opening day of the Budget Session, outlining the Congress government's achievements, policies and future roadmap for the state.
Delivering his over one-hour address in Telugu, English and Hindi, the Governor presented the government's vision document "Telangana Rising 2047," which aims to transform the state into a USD 3 trillion economy by 2047, with an interim target of USD 1 trillion by 2034.
The Governor said Telangana's GSDP for 2025-26 is estimated at Rs 17.82 lakh crore, registering a 10.7 per cent growth rate, while the per capita income has reached Rs 4.18 lakh. The se...
