Ranchi, March 24 -- Jharkhand Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar on Tuesday said that a convocation ceremony marks not just the award of degrees but the beginning of new responsibilities for students.
Addressing the convocation of ICFAI University Jharkhand at JAP-1 Doranda in Ranchi, the Governor congratulated the graduating students and urged them to contribute to society and nation-building through their knowledge, skills and values.
He said quality higher education has become increasingly important in the present global scenario and highlighted the role of private universities in delivering employment-oriented and value-based education in line with UGC and government norms.
