Hyderabad, June 19 -- Telangana Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla on Friday called for a united effort to make Telangana drug-free and urged students, parents, educational institutions and the media to actively participate in the campaign against substance abuse.

Speaking after distributing "Young India" Student Welcome Kits and administering an anti-drug pledge at the L.B. Stadium here, the Governor said students are not only the asset of the present but also the future of India.
