Government is ready to give land worth one lakh crore in the next few months - Suvendu

Kolkata, Nov. 5 -- Incorporating the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement (RFCTLARR) Act, 2013, and the land pooling system in its new industrial policy, the BJP government in West Bengal is presently in a position to offer land worth Rs 1 lakh crore to investors and industrialists over the next few months, Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari said on Thursday.

Speaking to the media after launching the new industrial policy, Adhikari said, "We have told the people who had taken land during the previous government to start the process or return the land.
