New Delhi, Aug. 30 -- Google warned billions of Gmail users to update their passwords following a rise in the number of data breaches.
The tech giant issued a critical security warning to about 2.5 billion of its users to integrate advanced security checkups and protective measures to safeguard their accounts.
On Aug 5, Google published a blog stating the hacker group 'ShinyHunters' broke into one of its Salesforce databases that store critical information.
The group 'ShinyHunters' is previously also linked to breach attempts at AT&T , Microsoft and Qantas Airlines.
