Itanagar, Nov. 4 -- Lieutenant General Abhijit S Pendharkar, General Officer Commanding, Spear Corps, visited the forward areas of Arunachal Pradesh on Tuesday to review the operational preparedness and progress of ongoing Operation Chaukas activities, a Defence official said.
During the visit, the Corps Commander reviewed the preparations for the forthcoming Tri-Service Exercise "Poorvi Prachand Prahar", a major joint exercise aimed at demonstrating multi-domain integration, synergy, and mission readiness in the challenging terrain of the Eastern Himalayas.
