Hyderabad, May 14 -- GMR Aero Technic (GAT) and Boeing Defence India Private Limited (BDIPL) have signed a landmark agreement for undertaking Phase-56 Heavy Maintenance Checks for the Indian Navy's Boeing P-8I maritime patrol aircraft fleet.
Under the agreement, GMR Aero Technic will carry out the heavy maintenance checks at its MRO facility located at the GMR Aerospace Park SEZ in Hyderabad. The work will include structural upgrades, detailed inspections, painting, and system upgrades in line with Boeing and defence aviation maintenance standards.
