Gadchiroli, April 8 -- In a tragic accident in Maharashtra's Gadchiroli district, an office superintendent of the Government Medical College (GMC) here, was killed and three others injured after a truck collided with their car, police said on Wednesday .
The deceased has been identified as Dr Vinod Kumre (57), a resident of Dighori in Nagpur.
According to police, the incident occurred on Tuesday at around 1:30 pm near Jamgiri junction when the car, in which Kumre was travelling along with his colleagues from Ashti towards Chamorshi, was hit head-on by the truck.
The impact of the collision was severe, causing the car to veer off the road and crash into a tree.
